Your friends like you better when you're single

Hey ya'll, I'm actually going to WRITE something today instead of just pimpin' my shit! :) I've noticed that people tend to like you better when you're single and it makes sense! First of all, you have more time for your friends because you're not giving away time to a significant other. This goes for both single and attached friends. As for the single friends, though, they like you better additionally because you're on the same playing field. Some single people are bitter and hold a little bit of resentment towards couples, especially happy ones. If you're one half of a pair, it's assumed that one or both of you are going to arrive when it comes to hanging out. Your friends just have to expect and accept it, even if they don't like your significant other. And most people are at least a TAD bit different around their boyfriend/girlfriend than they are when they're hanging out with their friends alone. And your friends could certainly stand to do without that. So that's a benefit of being single. All of sudden everyone is alot nicer and wanting to hang out more. However, now I want to hang out with single people MORE than people in relationships. So now I'm that typical single person. :)

  1. Amen to that sister!
Sometimes married people do have something against single people though, single people have more freedom!

  2. Hmm...I don't have too many married friends, but I'm sure that's true! Thanks so much for reading and commenting. :)
